Then, enjoy a ride on the Ayacucho Tram, blending tradition and modernity. Next, ascend via the Metrocable, a marvel of social engineering offering spectacular panoramic views of the city, showcasing its mountainous geography and vibrant growth. The tour ends at Plaza de las Flores, where you’ll feel the essence of the Flower Festival—even outside the season—or dive deeper into its festive atmosphere if visiting during the event. Breakfast. Discover the history of Cartagena de Indias on our shared tour in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle, accompanied by an expert guide who will explain the city’s history and daily life. We start by skirting Cartagena Bay, one of the safest in South America, followed by a panoramic tour of the emblematic Manga Island, admiring Moorish and Republican architecture until reaching the Candelaria Convent atop La Popa Hill for the best panoramic view of the city. Continue to San Felipe de Barajas Fortress, the greatest colonial architectural work, visit the Las Bóvedas barracks for handicraft shopping, and finish with a walk through the historic center to admire plazas, streets, and colonial buildings. Accommodation.

Breakfast. Pick-up at the hotel and transfer to La Bodeguita pier to board a shared-speedboat to Rosario Islands National Natural Park. During the ride, admire Cartagena Bay and Bocachica, where San Fernando and San José fortifications are located (boat ride Cartagena–Island or vice versa takes about one hour). Free time to enjoy the beach and a typical lunch included. Return to Cartagena by boat at the agreed time. Accommodation.

After visiting the hill, head to the Gold Museum to explore one of the world’s most valuable pre-Hispanic gold collections and the fascinating stories behind gold in indigenous cultures. Continue walking through La Candelaria, the city’s colonial heart. Discover colorful houses, historic balconies, and Bolívar Square, where Colombia’s most important moments were written. End with the unmistakable art of Fernando Botero and his collection of paintings and sculptures, plus works by Picasso, Dalí, and other great international artists. Accommodation.
